This section highlights the examples that prove the harmony and consistency between modern scientific discoveries and principles and a Book revealed more than 14 centuries ago to an unlettered man, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

The Creation of Matter

Electrons and protons of an atom are equal in number, because positively charged protons and negatively charged electrons always balance each other. If one of these numbers were different, there would be no atom, since its electromagnetic balance would be disturbed.

This Amazing Human Heart!

The heart is not only responsible for pumping the blood inside the human body; it has another function which is as important as this one. It is where faith in God lies. If the heart is sound and obedient to the Lord of all, its owner will be among those who prosper in this present life and the hereafter. Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) highlighted this in one of his hadiths that reads what may mean

Earth as an Exhibition of God’s Art

It was during this period, at the age of 21, Badiuzzaman read a news article reporting that British Minister of Colonies Gladstone had said to the British Parliament as he held a Qur’an: “We cannot rule over the Muslim as long as this Qur’an remains in their hands; we must do everything possible to remove the Qur’an away from Muslims, or alienate them against the Qur’an.”

The Secret World: The Microscopic Life

There are 20 times more members of this secret world, which is spread all over the planet, micro-organisms in other words, than there are animals on Earth. These micro-organisms, invisible to the naked eye, comprise bacteria, viruses, fungi, algae and Acarina (mites and ticks). They also constitute an important element in the balance of life on Earth. For example, the nitrogen cycle, one of the fundamental components

The Diameters of the Earth and Space

The Arabic word translated as “confines” in the above verse is “aqtar.” This is the plural form of the word “qutr,” meaning diameter and refers to the skies and the earth having many diameters. It is possible in Arabic to tell from the form in which a word is used whether it is singular, plural (more than two), or employed in a dual form.

Little White Lambs

By the time the ewe gives birth to her lamb, she never forgets its smell and the taste she senses while she cleans it with her tongue. That is why, she never accepts another lamb having a different taste and smell. This is really astonishing! While a mother in a hospital may well accept somebody else’s baby given to her, an ewe can readily distinguish her own lamb from all others in a crowded flock.

Grass-fed Meat and Dairy

For consumers who are intent on humane techniques for raising and slaughtering animals, grass-fed cattle are a tantalizing option. Although not all are out in open pastures, for many it means that they are not confined to feedlots.
